1. Stop talking about politics for a moment or two.
2. Post a reasonably-sized picture in your LJ, NOT under a cut tag, of something pleasant, such as an adorable kitten, or a fluffy white cloud, or a bottle of booze. Something that has NOTHING TO DO WITH POLITICS.
3. Include these instructions, and share the love.

Adorable kitty it is!

Impromptu self-portrait meme

1. Take a picture of yourself right now.
2. Don't change your clothes, don't fix your hair...just take a picture.
3. Post that picture with NO editing.
4. Post these instructions with your picture.

Everyone is mentioning how or whether they "cheated" the rules somehow. I took a second picture with a different camera after realizing that holding a 50mm lens at arm's length wasn't going to work very well.

baaaa.

Job meme. Where did this username and password come from, anyway?

1. Go to www.careercruising.com
2. Put in Username: nycareers - Password: landmark
3. Take the 'Career Matchmaker' questions at the upper left corner
3a. Refine results until they look less appalling.
4. Post the top 10 results.

But I didn't come up with chili powder mixer, which was a favorite discovery from the vocational battery and index in high school.

After refinement, it no longer tells me to be a HVAC technician )

In the spirit of people's "100 recipes" posts, I present "365 dinners". Well, okay, 309 after accounting for days away or when I forgot to write it down.

Random statistics:
Takeout or dining out: about one day out of four.
Most frequent place for dining out: Amherst Brewing Co.
Most frequent dinner vegetable: kale (usually with double garlic)
Most frequent home meals: Black bean quesadillas, spaghetti carbonara

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.

"The output waveform in Figure 4-4 is created by writing PWM_PERVALn[PV] with a decimal value of 10 (11 clocks) and PWM_DUTYn[DCYCLE] with 6."

(Stupid computer books with N-M page numbering. It's not like word processing and publishing can't do better....)

I kind of like this one. Kind of tedious to execute, though.

I kind of like this one. It seems like a cop-out to include something that another person couldn't have, due to uniqueness, such as home videos or mix CDs, though those are the first things that come to mind. As such, these are clearly just my best guesses, and not something I can guarantee. I will be pleasantly surprised to be wrong, though.
